Children In Need Rock Gig 13.11

Children In Need Rock Gig 13.11
By Bob Bruce 29th Sep 2009

Occasional DJ and charity event promoter, Bob Bruce, aka Captain Bob, is pleased to announce that the line up for this year’s Children in Need fundraiser on Friday November 13 at Hove Town Hall is Xanthus, The Curst Sons, Heels Catch Fire and the Ben Poole Band.

Xanthus is one bloke and a load of machines; an electronic wizard who produces lush cinematic soundscapes which occasionally venture into cosmic techno and dance beats. Curst Sons come straight from the swamps of Brighton and produce a stunning range of Americana and hillbilly roots music. Heels Catch Fire are one of the many treats on offer at Brighton Live and play righteous cutting edge indie math rock. The Ben Poole Band are a powerhouse blues trio who also play Brighton Live.

Tickets, £4 + booking fee, are on sale at Resident and Rounder and will go on sale later this week at Ape and the receptions at Brighton Town Hall, Hove Town Hall and King’s House, Grand Avenue.
