Discover The Art Of Sparkling Wine

Discover The Art Of Sparkling Wine
By Claire Ingram 2nd Oct 2009

For those of you looking for an event with a splash of sparkle, join Codorníu, Spain’s favourite sparkling winemaker and TV wine expert, Joe Wadsack for a unique ‘Sparkling Wine Masterclass’ on 15th October 2009, at the luxury Hotel du Vin, Ship Street, Brighton.

Whether you're a wine novice or a wine enthusiast, the flamboyant and straight talking Joe will guide you through the wonderful world of Sparkle and the winemaking heritage of Codorníu, one of the oldest family-owned companies in the world. Guests will get a unique opportunity to taste seven Codorníu products and will also learn:

- How to taste sparkling wines
- What to look for when evaluating sparkling wines
- About the differences in sparkling wine making techniques
- About the different blends of grape varieties

This private one hour tutored tasting will be relaxed and intimate - but register in advance to secure your place by email to info@codorniu.co.uk or tel: 01892 500265 – Pre-booked tickets cost £10 and will be redeemed to the value of £15 on the night against any orders of Codorníu products for home delivery or for purchases in the Hotel du Vin Bar or Restaurant.

The evening is suitable for all wine lovers, whatever their knowledge. Tasty tapas will be available and guests will leave with a complimentary gift bag including complimentary sparkling wine and flute glasses. Sparkling wines have never been more popular, and quite rightly so – book your place now and bring some sparkle into your Thursday night!
