A group of 6 of us visited Food For Friends on a busy Saturday night as part of a hen night. The food was amazing and the service was excellent, in fact there was nothing to fault the place on - even the die-hard meat-eater was impressed. I would recommend this place to anyone and can't wait go back again myself!

I have now been a few times and every time excellent, service flawless, food ooh so good, atmosphere and ambiance just what you want - romantic in the evening and vibrant for lunch and the cider champagne cocktail to die for.

Ok, But Expected Better

Went here last night.

Had the thai for 2, basically a coconut veggie curry with samosas, bhajis and papdoms and rice. The starters were good, but the curry was very runny and tasteless. Was disappointed with this. Then shared the potato rosti with my friends, which had nice, red cheese sauce with extra veggies. I finished with the chocolate and berry cake, which was nice but not excellent.

The service was good and speedy, efficient although I kinda regretted leaving an above average tip as the food wasnt up to scratch.

Was glad I came here to try the food as I seldom go to vegetarian restaurants and especially as FFF is a bit of an institution in Brighton. I will go back, but not in a hurry.
